(taxes and fees included)The core program of each edition Nocturne will return to Shibuya Stream Hall for two nights of audiovisual experimentation on Friday, December 11th, and Saturday, December 12th.
On Friday, producer Kafuka and visual artist Kezzardrix will debut their audiovisual collaboration on the MUTEK.JP stage. Following mainstay Daito Manabe will return for a Japan premiere of yet another innovative performance transcending technology, music and digital art for his own renown blend of styles. Closing the night will be raster representative Kyoka in collaboration with laser aficionado Shohei Fujimoto, a collaboration that has been developing since January 2020, when they first presented an installation work for MUTEK.JP at Haneda airport. They will be joined by rising vocalist and producer Maika Loubté, who will perform an experimental live set inspired by her roots in pop melodies. Topping of the Nocturne 1 program will be a rare performance by Ei Wada’s reel-to-reel tape manipulators that are known as the Open Reel Ensemble.
