After a 21st hybrid edition last September, MUTEK Montreal is proud to join the first joint edition of MUTEK Mexico and MUTEK Tokyo with three unprecedented performances that represent the artistic dynamism and the cultural richness of Canada.

This second program is placed under the sign of eclecticism with two performances as captivating as they are unpredictable.

Nelly-Eve Rajotte presents a new audiovisual experience, like a real-time film soundtrack, between music and sound texture, combining aerial images of Quebec landscapes, modular eurorack synthesizer, percussion sequencer (DFAM) and ribbon controller (ribbon 2).

Porto Porto! takes over with a unique experimental avant-house formula that combines powerful bass rhythms with lush melodies. Alex from California on his bionic harp, Quan from Vietnam on his custom modular synths, Samito from Mozambique on keyboards and vocals, and Montrealer Boogieman on rhythm, basslines and sound design, promise you an irresistible melting-pot.
